Activated carbon powder with very high porosity, particularly suitable for decolorize musts, wines and beverages. The porosity characteristics of DECOCARB PLUS (very low microporosity and very high meso and macroporosity) allow to retain the coloring substances and color precursors in high quantity, without affecting the odorous substances and therefore the aromatic profile of the product to be treated. The adsorbent power of DECOCARB PLUS is expressed to the maximum even on the oxidized tannic complexes and on the phenolic acids, which greatly favor the oxidative phenomena and therefore the appearance of the maderized character.
